Terms and Conditions of Sale.

The Company. Aberdeenshire Fireplaces Ltd

The Customer. The person or company placing the order

The Order. The order accepted by the company for the goods.

The Goods. The goods specified in the order

Estimateís & Surveys. When a survey is under taken at the customerís premises or an estimate is given on the phone or in the shop, this estimate is based only on the information seen or given at that time. Any extra unseen work or materials required to complete the fitting would incur extra costís to complete the job. A service fee is payable for a home visit to carry out a survey

Installations. Aberdeenshire Fireplaces do not employ their own fitters. We can provide contacts for local experienced insured installers in the area to carry out the work. The contract would be between the Customer and the Installer. Aberdeenshire Fireplaces Ltd, do not accept any responsibility or liability for such installers. The installers will invoice the customer direct and all fitting fees will be paid direct to the installers

Natural Marble, Slate, Granite. Each stone is created by nature with heat & pressure over many millions of yearís, variation in shading and veining will alter from each stone as nature made it. Some times pieces of quartz & iron appear in the stone which enhance the appearance. All marbles, stone, slate and granite are porous so be very careful with spills & drinks marking the material.

Wood Surrounds. We can not guarantee the timber will not shrink, crack or wrap, every care is taken to select kiln dried timber by the manufactures, but very damp or very warm environments can cause the above to happen.

Stoves, Gas Fires, Electric Fires. Aberdeenshire Fireplaces Ltd accept no responsibility for damage caused by incorrect operation of appliances, Customers should adhere to instructions in the hand book regarding types of fuel and use of air vents etc

Delivery. The delivery of goods from Mintlaw to the customerís home is chargeable.

Late Deliveries. Should the products that were ordered take longer than stated at the time of the order placed, The company will not accept any liability for the late delivery by the suppliers.

Payments. All balances due are to be paid on completion of the installation on the day or on the delivery of the goods to the customer.

Complaints Procedure. We are confident that you will be happy with our service. If anything is not right, please call us on 01771 622444 during in office hours. We will do everything we can to quickly resolve the matter to your complete satisfaction.
